Start Your Process

Starting therapy can generate doubts or uncertainty, especially if it's your first time. That's why it's important to know how it usually unfolds.

First session

In our first meeting, we'll have time to get to know each other. You can share what's happening to you, how you feel, and what led you to start therapy. We'll also answer your questions and begin to define what you need right now.

Evaluation and understanding

During the first few sessions, we'll delve into your story and what's causing you distress in the present. The goal is to understand not only what's happening to you, but also its origin and the factors that are perpetuating it.

Therapeutic intervention

From there, we'll begin working more deeply. The process is tailored to you, your pace, and your needs, integrating different therapeutic tools.

Monitoring and consolidation

As you progress, we will consolidate the changes and work to help you integrate them into your daily life, promoting greater well-being and emotional balance.

Each therapeutic process is unique and adapts to your pace and needs.

EMDR Therapy

Overcome trauma and phobias with EMDR, an effective therapy for reprocessing difficult experiences and regaining your peace.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy is a psychological approach that is especially effective in treating trauma and emotionally intense experiences.

Often, certain experiences are not fully processed and remain "stored" in the nervous system, generating discomfort in the present (anxiety, blocks, insecurity, intense emotional reactions, etc.).

EMDR allows you to reprocess these experiences adaptively, helping them lose their emotional charge and stop interfering with your current life.

As a therapist trained in EMDR (Levels I and II), I integrate this approach into the therapeutic process when it is appropriate for the individual.

It is a structured therapy, based on scientific evidence, that works directly on the root cause of the distress, not just the symptoms.

You can find more information about the scientific evidence and benefits of EMDR at the following links: EMDR Research, EMDR Articles.
